Does anyone know how to set up Internet Connection Sharing with a Vodem?

It gives you that little application thing to connect, but how to you share the connection?

Cheers Don

Forget the VMC... You will find a DialUp connectoid in the Network Properties, corresponding to the vodem... You create the ICS from there.

Remember though the ICS requires the receiving side to have specific IP address (192.168.0.1) and if you use this PC in another network you will have to manually change it later - and back when using ICS.

A better option is NAT32.

When I plug in the vodem it automatically starts up the vmc software.  How do I stop it from doing that and make it do what I want?

Cheers Don

I tried this. I just get error 619. Are there any instructions about or do you know if there's a support number I can call to get help?

EDIT: I rebooted the machine and the problem went away.
