TelstraClear is launching a campaign called Vote PDQ, with the winner taking home a year of broadband (or dial-up) if you are a masochistic type.

The "voting form" is similar to the official New Zealand vote forms, and there are some serious (the "Pro Broadband" party) and funny (the "Citizens Against broadband" coalition).

Hmm, from looking at the T&C's I cannot see anything that will make us cable users ineligible.

However when I put in my phone number it says....

Your phone number indicates that you may be on TelstraClear's residential cable network This means you have access to a range of superior broadband services. As a result, we are not able to offer you PDQ.

So can I join in the promotion or not?

Id love to win the dial-up service so I can get the cable and dial-up going together!

BTW I physically have two lines, so I dnt see why I couldnt?
