Anyone know how to get my Bose 'universal' remote from my V35 to work with my new v-box?  Ive tried the automated setup - it's not recognised.  As well as the Vodafone setting and Telstraclear from the manual setup with no joy.  Anyone managed to get one to work?

Cheers

A

Hey there,

I haven't specifically tried that remote, but there was a thread on the Vodafone Community about using the Galaxy S4's IR feature with the T/V-Box - the user found it worked with the brand DTSv.

Thanks for the tip, but no joy unfortunately….

It's not a Radio remote is it? My Bose remote is not IR.

They may have changed to IR remotes now.

Side note, the Bose systems that run on RF remotes can also take IR remotes (there is an option to turn it on). I no longer use my RF remote, instead I use a Harmony.

It's RF for the Bose but does IR for other things like the tv, etc.
