4G at Matarangi, Coromandel for Xmas? No boat so cant get out to the coverage area on the water :-)

I'm supposed to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

4G coverage map was updated approx 4 weeks ago and since then many more 4G sites have gone live around NZ that are not showing on the map yet,

Let me check next week I think Matarangi was one of them, Don't hold me to this

If I was staying at Matarangi I would turn my phone and not care about 4g or 3g, that place is awesome

Capacity on 3G has been increased around many holiday hotspots over Christmas / New years with 3G 2100Mhz DC+ getting added to 3G 900Mhz only sites and the addition of 4G / LTE

This extra capacity is not getting removed after Christmas / New years either it will all stay in place

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Climb a hill or get a boat but 3G still should be quite quick

Awesome! Any 4G portable wifi units available yet? Can't see any on the VFNZ website. 3G has worked well in the past, just a little slow.

Actually I will be climbing the hill to where the Vodafone cell site is, have a geocache there that needs some maintenance :-)

I swear when I checked last neither the R212 or R215 were on the site. But in checking this morning I see the R215. Just might find its way under the tree this Christmas.
