Sorry for the question - but I just need confirmation on this. I have Vodafone and Telecom pre-pay phones. Is it possible to get my Telecom number put on my Vodafone phone (Hyundai TX115c to Nokia 5410i)?? I want to biff the Hyundai and use the one phone - but need to use the telecom number (wishful thinking I know...)

You can port the number over to Vodafone. Just be aware that Vodafone currently does not allow you to port a number to prepaid, instead you are typically forced into either a contract (Choose / base plans) or into a semi useless voda to voda plan.

You are welcome to biff the Hyundai my way!

Good luck should you dare to port to GSM at the moment!
Telecom do have nice phones by the way if that is your concern!
