After reading all the horror stories around here, it's good to have some different experience to report... Yesterday at about 6pm I contacted the Paradise help desk through e-mail, asking to move an e-mail mailbox from someone else's account (MIL, mother-in-law) to my account, because she had closed her own Paradise account when moving to broadband with another provider (unfortunately they don't live in a TCL area).

The reply e-mail, asking for a phone call from my MIL to confirm the request came in the morning, even though it was a holiday. After confirmation the move was completed in less than 24 hours total. All done via e-mail and no wrong configuration or anything terrible.

I know it's Paradise.net, and albeit they are technically TelstraClear, I am not sure they share the help desk. But it is still the same company, and a very good service.

Ive also had good support from the paradise team in regards to moving email address's.

When I setup my account, I got the GF and her mother to move their work account over to mine, that was transferring a paradise to a clear.net account.

One of the email address's that they had was for the GF's sister. (I never knew she even used it).

However her partner asked paradise if he could get it transferred to his account, paradise said they couldnt even though I had closed the account. He was told I needed to authorise it, I sent them an email and as of the next day it was done!

So congratulations there TCL!

At the risk of derailing the thread - There was a recent article about another major provider (XTRA). It is nice to see these providers such as paradise and Xtra in a positive light now and then, considering the level of punishment they receive on the forums (some of it deserved, some of it trolling).
