We have identified an issue where access from the PSTN to the Voice Portal may not be working for some users not all, at this stage we suspect changes made to the network last night is the cause, we are working to remedy the situation,  Calls to the Voice Portal directly from VFX are fine, Voice mail can be collected by setting up carbon copy and sending it to an email address until the situation is resolved, apologies for the inconvenience this causes any customers.

I haven't had access to the voice portal over the last couple of days, and the lack of identification in the emails is becoming annoying.

I have 3 VFX lines and I have to ring each of them until I find out which one has the message for me.

Please Maverick ... can we have an upgrade to the notification message advising us which VFX line the message is on??

You can have your Voicemail sent to you in EMails, the feature is not controlled by us it has been a feature request for quite some time but is not currently supported

Most ISPs give you about 5 e-mail accounts or at least aliases (which is what XNet does).  Until the feature is added you can setup different addresses for each VFX line and forward the messages to different addresses, then your e-mail program can filter your messages and move then to different folders according to the "to" field in the message.  (But it would be nice when the feature request is implemented...)

Ahh.. silly me.

I'm using gmail, and gmail allows you to add an identifier to your email address.

So, if your email is email@gmail.com, I can make it email+phoneno@gmail.com

Changing those addresses made no difference, but now I just noticed that the voice messages are addressed

pop an email address into the 'email a carbon copy.......' and your voicemail message will be sent to you as a sound clip, saves the need to ring back into any of your lines to listen to the message.
