Ragnor: The mobile provider needs to have software at their end to support Visual Voicemail
It's basically a proprietary protocol with a lot of patent lawsuits around it at the moment so wouldn't be surprised that it's not a priority for any of the NZ telco's atm.
nzjwnz: My understanding is that Vodafone considered implementing this back in 2008 but it had a cost somewhere around $200k with little return on the investment so the business case got binned. Maybe back in 2008 there was more desire by the UK/USA providers to attract iPhone users?
