Hi Guys

Just want to get your experience with Voda cable + netflix using getflix (preferred) - are you guys getting SuperHD? without buffering issues? using PS3 and atv
I understand that voda cable is using proxy which may not work with getflix/unblockus but this could be different now?

Im actually planning to move ISP and planning to consider Voda cable and Slingshot..

first option is Voda cable being they can deliver 50Mb down as currently my vdsl is not that good as I am 1KM from exchange and fiber is not option until 2-3 yrs in our place.

Would really appreciate for your inputs as my Bigpipe account will expire on 31st March.

Thanks!

It seems Unblock-US is working now to stream Netflix and Hulu but... It seems it still has problems loading static images in Netflix, so half of the movie/shows covers show just empty space.

and the voda lady mentioned that they would not fix the issue as it is not within NZ..

looks like I will be going to slingshot then...

the service is perfect! probably the best ISP I have dealt with as we can stream HD movies no buffering (netflix, hulu, youtube, xbmc) usijng PS3, atv.
The prob is that you dont accept amex which is my only way of payment (this was just confirmed to me today via email that you dont support amex) so sad and I need to find new provider... all other providers acceps amex and for some reason you didnt include amex.. sigh.. time to move on.

Yeah, sorry about that.  It was a close call, trade-off between the extra dev cost (and higher transaction fee for AMEX) and delay to getting billing online for April. and the few extra customers it might get by offering it. We may add it in the future, but I really couldn't say.

Thanks for the great feedback though.

As an aside; despite its name, I found American Express is not widely accepted in America at all. Most places use Visa.
