I'm on a prepaid data plan and want to switch to the prepaid 4G plan (http://www.vodafone.co.nz/prepay-4g/.

Looks like the only way to do this is via phone. Have been on-hold forever. Does anyone want to pick up the phone and take my money??

RunningMan: Can you do it via the My Vodafone app on your phone?


Thought I'd try that earlier but didn't get that far. First step is to register for My Vodafone:

Jesse, your 6-digit verification code was sent by TXT to 021XXXXXX


...Except it's been a while and the code hasn't turned up yet. I'm receiving other txt messages though.

We have a known issue going on right now if you are trying to register try in the morning,

You need to switch to PrepaySmart then add the $19 4G bundle

I finally got through to a CSR.

They won't let me transfer from a prepaid data plan to a prepaid smart plan.

I have to buy a new sim from the supermarket, call them again, pay them a fee and apparently we're done.

Thieves.

There is a reason why front line staff can't move PrepayData connections to other Prepay base plans, Nothing to do with $$ but config
