I was browsing the VBOX settings and discovered a new function that I'm curious to know more about.
Settings, General, Synchronise, Synchronise Entitlements and Remote Commands.

Would our resident VBOX expert like to comment on what this command does ;-) ?

HG556a, SHG1500, HG659?

Oo you mean VBOX as in like VFTV or the old TBox?
There was a software update recently.

I meant the TelstraClear Cable Digital TV recorder, or TBOX. I thought it might have been re-badged as VBOX since the takeover :-)

This is used by customers using the unit on UFB. It forces a poll of the server for entitlement updates.


No other use.

It's now called the "Vodafone Digital TV Recorder". (Or VFTVR for short). :-)~
