I've had Sky TV through Vodafone Cable with a T-Box for about a year. Wondering if anyone here can answer the following.

How does the T-Box handle updates to show times in the EPG? How often is the content updated? Does it even get updates - or, to keep things simple, does it get each day's listings once a week out and stick with that?

Reason I'm asking: I want to record whatever NBA game(s) are shown on ESPN today. The T-Box has a generic listing at Noon to 2:30 - no teams named, but that's the time of the Pacers-Wizards game. The Sky website lists non-NBA content then and the Thunder-Clippers game at 2:30 to 5pm.

I'm just going to record every show on ESPN this afternoon (by habit I always add a couple of hours worth of shows after the NBA game, they usually finsh late) but was curious what would happen to those if the EPG listings got updated.

P.S. It would be great if the box had a feature for recording a time span instead of a single show, or could group multiple shows on the same channel into a single recording.

I believe that the TBOX EPG get's update at least once daily. Mine gets done around 5am, can always tell because the "please wait, updating" message pops up in the top left corner.

Thanks for that reply. I'm not convinced the listing gets updated every day, because on Sunday the ESPN listing stayed different from the Sky website. The show I recorded as the NBA game had no basketball content, but by recording every show for a few hours after it I was able to get the NBA game that did screen here - across four or five different shows.

Last night there was no NBA listing for today on the T-Box, so I set it to record every ESPN afternoon show. This morning I checked again. The EPG did now have the game, but it wasn't set to record - all the to-be-recordeds I had set up had disappeared except one very late in the day which I'll only need if it goes to overtime. I'm sure glad I double checked this morning.

Is anyone else having issues with getting any EPG content at all? (T-box on cable)
Last night content was missing for a few channels, tonight there are "No listings" for almost all channels. Modem and T-box have been restarted, but still nothing.
