hey guys,

Im wondering if anyone can help. I bought a Moto V1050 a couple months ago...and I'm wondering how to tunr off Predictive TXT. Every time I open a new message/reply, I ahve to press hash (#) 3 times in order to change it from "abc1" (Predictive TXT) to "abc2" (Normal). Is there a way to make it so when I open new message/reply, it will automatically go to "abc2"? THANK YOU SO MUCH!

  1. Press Menu ->EntrySetup from any text entry screen.
  2. Select PrimarySetup or SecondarySetup, and choose:
  • iTAP - Let the phone predict each word as you press keys
  • Tap - Enter letters and numbers by pressing a key one or more times.
  • Tap Extended - Enter letters, numbers, and symbols by pressing a key one or more times.
  • None - Hide the Secondary setting (only available for Secondary Setup).
Abc1 = Primary
Abc2 = Secondary

so you'd be looking at changing Abc1 from iTap to Tap or Tap Extended.
