Just interested in unlimited Broadband and would like to know if Vodafone would match other deals that are being offered by other company's to hold onto existing long time customers?

Here is something i found on a website
"For just $75 per month you can have uncapped ADSL broadband (Woosh)",

*NOTE:
On Cable And dont have any other services YET with vodafone.

Not trying to block a good deal, but... If you are on Vodafone cable and move to Woosh you will see why it's so much cheaper...

OK then cars are used to get from A to Z would you expect to the pay same for a 1980 Lada compared to a 2010 Maserati?

At the end of the day they are still just a car with 4 wheels

urr my 5 cents.
You are comparing a service that is 5 times faster than average ADSL for the same price.
Vodafone is also in the club of uncapped ADSL for $75. I am sure that is the cheapest in the market equal with others too.
(Uncapped naked cable is $75 for 50/2, Same as ADSL cheaper than VDSL.) Am i missing anything here? Or is it a really silly comparison.

*Addition: I think others are matching us :)

www.vodafone.co.nz

That website has much information. Have you got an on account mobile? If so you get a $10 discount. $75 includes the discount.

Without the mobile discount, it might not be as compelling - but we have a whole bunch of value-add extras like Sky if that's your thing and decent mobile deals nowadays. Might be worth looking at switching :)

To be fair if dsl was a lada and cable was a 2010 maserati carrying a LARGE bag of 0's and 1's do they still get get from a to z. as both are speed limited to 50km does it really mater how you transport it?

You are on cable which will outperform ADSL at any time. The ADSL "speed limit" is vastly inferior to the cable speed limit. Cable at $85/month (which is without the $10 mobile discount) is only $10 more than the other offer and you get many times more speed than you could possibly get on ADSL.

Moving from cable 50Mbps to ADSL to save $10 is crazy.

I also appreciated you previous post about not matching competitors, and as im not able to take advantage of extra discounts due to lack of extra services as you not its less compelling, i was hoping to take advantage of online services and fix my bill each month just not for $85 a month to be honest and also cant justify spending another $20 a month on mobile services to save $10 on broadband.

its always a case of if you don't ask you will never know.
