Hi there

Is anyone else noticing their cable modem restarting at random times? It has happened at least three times this morning, as well as one day last week.

I'm not sure if any work is being conducted in our area (Petone, Lower Hutt) to cause this.

Stevie

Hmmm. Nothing here. Are you sure is the modem, not your router?

If not your router and no work around your area, ask Vodafone for a replacement...

Definitely the modem. When the ! appeared in my wireless network icon, I looked at the modem and the power button was flashing, with no other lights on (maybe the activity light was flashing, not sure). Then slowly the other lights came on.

Is it covered, under or on top of anything else? Free standing? Enough ventilation, not too hot?
