Hi,

I live in the Murupara / Galatea area and wondered if anyone has any information regarding the availability of RBI in this area. I currently use 3G mobile data for my internet which is costing far to much for what I am getting. For example, last month I spent $150 for 9gb of 3G data. I am currently registered with 2degrees and using the vodafone cell tower in Murupara for signal / connection. I have been in contact with Vodafone regarding the availability of RBI in this area and they have advised me that the new Vodafone cell tower that was put up in Murupara that services the mobile network is not the same tower that services the RBI network. They have taken my details and said they would notify me when the RBI service is available.

I am hoping to get on this service as soon as possible: http://www.vodafone.co.nz/broadband/rural/wireless/

I intend to pay an extra $20 for the double data deal which would give me 30gb for $110 which is much more reasonable.

Cheers,

Joe

No ADSL? According to Chorus's map, Murupara has VDSL, Galatea can get ADSL?
