I recently re-signed to Vodafone for another 2 years on Red Business 3GB plan. I signed up 3/4 way through the billing month and immediately noticed that my data meter on the My Vodafone app was travelling backwards (starting at '0MB Left' available and increasing as I used data).

I contacted Vodafone who said that it was most likely a glitch caused by the new plan starting half way through the month and it would correct itself on next billing cycle.

We have now ticked over to the new cycle, and it's still moving backwards! Logging in to the Vodafone website account shows the same so it's not just a mobile app issue.

I've attached two screenshots from the My Vodafone app. As you can see at 04:12 I had '496MB Left', 11 minutes later (04:22) after watching a couple of videos, I had '517MB Left'.

The observant may note I've used 500MB of my 3000MB plan after only 2 days, I just discovered BaconReader for Reddit. Don't judge! tongue-out But seriously, has anybody else seen this?

Sounds like you've signed on to Red Business during the Double Data promo? If so there is a known issue with how remaining data shows in My Vodafone (I can't remember the exact details but I know it's along these lines). This should be fixed in the next month or so.

It's no biggie to subtract what I see in the app off my data quota of 3000MB to see what's remaining, but I shouldn't have to. Hopefully a Vodafone staffer can offer some insight.

Try going into settings - Applications-and clearing the app data. that *should* fix it.

As several posters have suggested, Andrew from Vodafone has confirmed I'm on the Double Data promo and that I'm affected by the meter 'bug'.

Lol, wasn't even aware of the promo. 6GB. bonus! laughing
