So I've now been swapped (my ADSL connection) to the Vodafone Red network.

What does this give me over and above what I had before?

Vodafone have more control over your line. One less factor out of VF control for any issues that might happen plus If your line is good enough they can squeeze a few extra Mbs sync by changing your profile.

And faster when applied a 6dB SNR margin with no interleaving!

Better hope you have a master filter with that SNR - if you have an old horrible wiring setup that'll be no fun!

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

I had a customer who was on Telecom getting 5Mbps. Moved to Vodafone Red and speed dropped to 2Mbps. After master filter install, 17Mbps!
6db is great on a good line, but on a bad line it's seriously bad.
