It mentions about the "#vodaqueue"

Is that lining up system similar to the Sparkeq?

I am planning to get a 6+ on plan tonight :) want to know more about the queuing system!

It's a good old fashioned physical queue. :)

Midnight launch is at the new Queen Street store in Auckland, Lambton Quay in Wellington, Riccarton Mall in Christchurch, and George Street in Dunedin. The new iPhones will be available for purchase on 24 month Red+ plans.

More stores will have stock when they open tomorrow, with smaller stores around the country receiving stock as it becomes available. If anyone wants to know about a specific region or store, just ask.

Can you please list all the Auckland stores that will have stock tomorrow morning?

I am worried I won't be able to get one, my movie finished at 11:30pm and I will run to the que. But just in case I miss out, can you please let me know just in case I miss out?

I can then line up outside those stores when they open.

Thanks

Hey Nikt, do you expect any stores in Auckland will still have stock of Space Grey, 64gb or 128gb?
I'm really wanting to get my hands on one without waiting a couple of weeks for delivery - happy to travel wide around Auckland.

Thanks!

Might be a tough ask at this point, sorry!

The folks I'd normally check in with for info on this sort of thing have gone home for the weekend. I'd suggest ringing around the stores listed above as the best port of call, but would expect most will have cleared out of the higher capacities in more popular colours (Especially of the 6 Plus).

Can check in for you on Monday, totally understand how much fun the wait isn't as I'm in a relatively similar basket myself. :)

Thanks for the reply! Appreciated!

What a pain that they're so hard to get ahold of :( Will ring around all the VF stores tomorrow - bet they're sick of getting calls about it by now!
Failing that, would I be best to order online, or do you think stores will get stock top-ups before the 7-14 days it takes an online order to arrive?

As an update, after dropping by five or six stores, I finally found a 128gb Space Grey iPhone 6 at Vodafone Westfield Manukau.
The stores I visited seemed to have plenty of 16gb models, and a few of them had gold 128gb models. So anyone after a 16gb or gold model won't have any worries.

Good stuff, sounds like it was worth the trek! Enjoying so far? What plan did you pick it up on?

I went in to Manukau on Saturday and was told they had nothing in stock and sold out everywhere. Which one did you know of having gold or 64Gb models? None of the stores answered calls :(

Loving it so far! Perfect size, nice camera, solid build quality (no bends so far!). Such an upgrade from the 16gb iPhone 5. There's actually room for all my Spotify, photos, apps etc.

Picked it up on the Red Essentials plan, which is the same except for the fact that it has 500mb less data than my previous, $75/mth plan. I can put up with 500mb less data for the sake of a near-free phone though!

I don't think I saw 64gb models anywhere. Newmarket Vodafone had 128gb golds in stock, as well as 16gb devices. I *think* Botany Downs also had 16gb models in stock, not sure if they had any 128gb in stock in other colors (I know they'd just sold their last Space Grey before I got there!).

Reckon I must've got the last 128gb Space Grey @ Manukau, sorry :P

JB Hifi Manukau also had a couple in stock (not sure which), but they were Spark-only. I was after Vodafone.

Seems the least popular Iphone6 is the 128GB Gold, that is the one I was able to get ahold of, I actually don't think the gold is all that bad, I could have lived with it... If I hadn't swapped for a 6+
