Hi,

Wonder if anyone can help me - I can't seem to find where I backup the config on the MP-264
I have made some changes to the DNS names of devices, added some ports to be opened etc.

I'm having trouble getting a fibre connection install completed (something to do with provisioning

, not convinced) and I'm sure at some point someone is going to suggest factory resetting the device. So before then I'd like to backup the config.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Wayne,

A factory reset won't be needed.
Our provisioning dept. found the issue and is now resolved.
You will need to plug in your Fiber Ethernet cable into the LAN4/WAN port on the MP264, and make sure you have your fiber credentials entered under the Quick Setup page as such :

Once you're online over fiber, your phone service will configure itself with the new phone number, let me know if you wanted to keep the same number as before and i'll get that fixed up.

I have an MP264 and used it since before launch, with a pre-release model. This is one of the feedback provided: the need to have backup/restore functionality.

It is a brilliant device, performance is better than anything I had around here but I put so much effort into configuration that I dread the day I might have to redo it...

Thanks for the response - the WxC team have managed to get everything sorted.

I was worrying when he suggested doing a factory reset - which didn't need in the end.

so I guess there is no option to backup the config, taken lots of screen shot
