Hi Team,

I just received an email from the "BNZ" advising me to click on the link and fill out lots of account information. It advised that a Chinese IP address was used to try to access my account, but rather sadly the IP included was actually a Japanese one.

The headers seemed to suggest it was actually sent from a static Vodafone IP.

I was advised just to use the email form to send the information through to Vodafone's Customer Service team. I thought it was strange that they don't appear to have a "security" or "abuse" email address or is this me just showing my age :-)

Thanks for the suggestion of using spam cop MadEngineer. This appeared to be the only relevant suggestion made on the Vodafone Forum website as well.

I did actually cheek out that site prior to posting here, but noted the requirement to register and also the requirement that only "Spam" emails were to be logged. Perhaps I am being pedantic, but a "Phishing" email is not technically a "Spam" email, hence my query regarding an abuse/security email address.

Cheers

don't worry, it's still spam.

if you're truly concerned, dont submit it and just use it to get the network's email address.
