Some weeks ago I wanted to update my Best Mates to a new number but was unable to get the Best Mates web page to load. Contacted Vodafone by phone and spoke to 5 people non of whom could get the page to load, in the end it was manually updated by a staff member who informed me that it's now against the rules for them to update best mates for customers. Today and yesterday I attempted to use the update on Best Mates but was again unable to get the best mates web page to load, rang Vodafone only to be told that they are too busy and to call back.
Just to make sure that the problem isn't at my end can anyone get the best mate page to load?

Try again and be patient is my advice.  When I have tried it to use it in the past I have had to wait several minutes (yes, really) for the page to appear.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

I've waited for periods of up to 30 minutes to see if the page will load with no luck, just how long did you wait for the page to load?

Have you checked pop up blockers?

It certainly wasn't 30 minutes, more like 2 or 3.

Further to JohnR's query, it would pop up a blank window straight away on clicking the link.  Does yours do this?

I have just tried it actually, clicked the link at 12:26, a new window popped up straight away, information appeared at 12:28.  (I didn't count the seconds sorry.)

As an additional comparison for your statistical viewing pleasure, I have just tried this on my account.
The popup appears immediately but with a blank body, just a header ('untitled'), and a 'waiting for customerzone.vodafone.co.nz' trailer, and it kept the chrome busy wheel spinning for 108 seconds before the list was finally presented, at which point the header changed to 'manage your best mates'.

I'd be more than happy to wait two minutes, I left the page loading for over an hour today without success.

Had a thought, because I sign on using my old TC account number and password is it possible that this is causing the problem?

Is it possible to get into the Best Mates page without signing in?

John, I disabled all popup blockers in Firefox and Internet Explorer, I also stopped Kaspersky and Malwarebytes from loading just to see if either browser was causing the problem.

I'm an ex-TelstraClear user too, and I access my Best Mates through Customer Zone.  I just tried it and it took 1 minute 33 seconds to come up.  In the past it's always taken 2 or so minutes to appear.

Just tried using my account number to login instead of my user-id. No problems, got the best mates popup eventually (144 seconds). So you can cross off that from your list of possible causes.
