Since the last update for VF TV (T-Box) when changing channels the sound will stutter and stop for a few seconds. This is with any channel change method, i.e From Guide, +/- key or 00#. I have lived with it but thought maybe the fine folks at VF may wish to know and have a look at it.

Just to make sure it's not something with my box I have done the following...

Tried a different HDMI Cable
Tried a different HDMI port
Power Cycled the T-Box and Router(s)

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

I'm getting a similar issue but with the video stuttering on playback of recorded shows, was just about to post a new thread.

I just found this thread and I'm keen to know if/how it got sorted, because my box (cable, Christchurch, Sky basic + Sport + Soho) is experiencing what sounds like the same problem but only with one channel: switch to 060 ESPN, and there is initial sound stuttering for a few seconds or more. Then it comes right ... for a while. Minutes later I will begin to notice degraded sound with many tiny cut-outs.

A change away from ESPN to another channel and back again resumes the pattern of a few seconds of stuttering, then normal sound, but again only for minutes before another channel change is required. I have only observed this on channel 60 ESPN, not channel 61 ESPN2 nor any other HD channel. My box is a recent replacement, previous T-Box having failed a few months ago.

Hi All

I a also getting random volume levels drop offs and distortion constantly.

I checked all my leads yesterday to make sure that I didn’t have any loose or damage leads and they were all fine.

Another issue is that the remote is sooooo slow.

Cheers Paul.

Yes I've noticed a big increase in lag from hitting OK on the Guide too.

Funnily enough one of the fixes in the last update was to speed things up in another area, I'd say that overall its made the performance worse than it was before
