Hi All

We have a private APN with Vodafone, with a few hundred devices connected to.  On this APN we have over a 100 of a particular device; that has an embedded GSM/3G Modem; working without any issue.

Earlier this week we provisioned an additional 20 devices; along with SIM cards for connection to this APN.  However the new SIM Cards all return

INFO:modem.c: Didn't locate vaild SIM, trying again!

We have tried the new SIM Cards in both the new devices; and existing devices, with the same result.  However if we use one of the existing SIM Cards in the new device everything works as expected.

The SIM Card also functions in other devices that we use on the APN without issue.

This bring me to the conclusion that I have some type of Device/SIM incompatibility issue...  possible?  have Vodafone recently changed there SIM Cards?

We have kicked off an engagement with the product vendor; and have also contacted our VF AM.  But keen on others experience with such issues.

Cheers
D
