Hi all,

Well..my employment at a large NZ Telecommunications company is coming to an end so the first thing I want to do is buy a nice Vodafone mobile Smile I'm out of the loop on what models are out there so any suggestions are welcome. Anything up to $1000.

Feature phone\smart phone. I don't want anything too big either. The N95 looks quite nice (although it's a bit over $1000) but how big are they?

Treo 750v is now $999 RRP, I quite liked it for the time I was using it :)

E65 is also a capable device for decent money ($749 RRP)

I too am thinking a Treo 750v (if it is WM6), then I can pass my JasJam to my partner, then we all will be on the WM5/6 devices! YAY! [wishful thinking]

The E65 and Treo 750v both look quite nice. Decisions, decisions.....

Also, what's a good VF plan if I want more "data" then calling?

Indeed. Not fussed on the "Mocha" colour but otherwise quite a nice little phone. Treo wasn't doing it for me.

E65 is not selling well in Hong Kong.It is a overly priced mobile and not selling quite well

If you choose E65 why not choose N95 instead?

I think the price difference is huge for E65 and N95, as mentioned above.

How often are you on your phone?
Do you need a high-spec camera?
Do you need/want to e-mail off your phone?
Are you on the go a lot and would like to use your phone as a modem?

quote = mikal: How often are you on your phone?

Maybe 10 - 15 calls a day

Do you need a high-spec camera?

Nope but it might be handy if I spot any hot chicks walking down the street

Do you need/want to e-mail off your phone?

Wouldn't mind

Are you on the go a lot and would like to use your phone as a modem?

I probably look at a vodem or something similair if that was the case

Seeing your last post:

If you want to take pics of hot chicks -> N95 with 5MP camera
If you need modem like Vodem -> N95 with HSDPA support up to 3.6MB DL speed

Why not have everything in the same device?
Expect big price drops on the N95 as Nokia just introduced the refurbished ones... I am tellin' ya.

I is a kollege stoodent. Bee nice.
