Anyone else on XNet been experiencing frustratingly slow speeds lately? I'm getting < 1mbps, particularly in peak times for about the last week. High pings too. I'm unsure if it's an XNet capacity issue, or just a typical ol' crowded exchange.

edit: Should probably stipulate, issue is both national and international, with an Aus speed test just achieving 560kbps, and local 900kbps.

Hi Mike,

Definitely should not be capacity here, have quite a lot of capacity right now and all looking very good, can I ask you please to phone into the helpdesk 0800144357 (080014HELP) and let them look at it for you, first Guess would be to say local exchange congestion  but generally we like to look first

Hmm, the problem appears to be with my wireless adapter. Windows Update has installed new drivers and substantially reduced my signal quality. I was already looking for a new adapter, so no biggy I guess.

I am always careful not to install Windows recommended drivers.  Had an MSI video card that Microsoft would ID incorrectly which ends up crashing my PC when their driver is installed.  Also get performance issues with some of their drivers, I always go with the manufacturer's drivers (and remember to set Windows to allow non-signed drivers).
