Just received this in the post. I was told it was a $1.50 charge for sending me a paper bill. Strangely enough I haven't had any services with TelstraClear since early 2011. But the bill did make me chuckle.

Edit: On 2nd thought, They're likely just writing off debt that isn't worth pursuing. E.g if you managed to get a $1.50 paper bill charge but had paid your final bill already the system wouldn't generate a invoice itself.

$1.50, could it be anything to do with paper bills? (I.e. they applied it to all accounts that hadn't opted for non-paper bills, (but the actual bill didn't get printed, because it wasn't scheduled to/in the batch), then realized they had to reverse it which in turn generated another paper bill?)

Edit2: Realized P.L. acked that it was paper bills, that'd teach me for not reading properly...

I left TCL/Vodafone about six months ago and I used to receive paper bills. I haven't had one of these (yet).

One of my friends still gets a paper bill every month telling him that his vodafone account has 60c credit on his account.
This has happened since 2012. Top that.

Thankfully the paper "bills" I got from Clear.net and then Vodafone telling me I had $3.xx credit stopped about 18 months ago.
