Hi,
I just got my VDSL connection (Vodafone) with a Huawei HG659 router and now Netflix is giving me the old "We're not available in your country yet" message, even though it's playing on my computer. I have a Chromecast and an unblockus.com account, and I have set my router's DNS to the ones listed on their site.
I have tracked down the problem to Chromecast being hard coded to use Googles DNS and found and answer on unblockus (suppport.unblockus.com/customer/portal/questions/1385727-chromecast) that gives a good solution, but I need a bit of help to set this up on my router.  I have logged in as Admin (VF-NZhg659) and I suspect the right place to look is in Static Routing, but obviously I am far from being an expert in this.

Any help would be appreciated so I can get back to watching House on my new big TV

Hi in the HG659 look for

Internet , Parental control and enter under url filter 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as address to block

Your issue should be solved might pay to reboot as well.

I did what you said, thank you, but then nothing worked, so I took the Google DNSs off the parental control and it all burst into life again.  Netflix works just like it always did.

I'm confused, but happy.

For anyone reading this - next time I tried tpo watch I had to parental block 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 again, so I've left them at that and it works a treat.  Much simpler answer than having to change the iptables, thank you.
