If I was to buy a 3G mobile phone from Vodafone, would I need a 128kb SIM? I currently have a 32kb SIM. If so, how do I go about upgrading?

I think you can use old SIM cards... I have my original SIM card from nine years ago...

You can use older SIMs on the 3G network but I would advise to up-grade to a new U-SIM

Upgrades are just done in store

What's the benefit of upgrading, if it's working for me for example?

I am sure there are more differences than that, I could be wrong though

The main feature of USIM is improved security.  This powerpoint presentation has some good information and there are further references on the last page.
