Guys

Any idea on what may be happening here?  When I place a call to local numbers (I know for couple this happens to every time - both Telecom customers) I dont hear the ringing tone, rather silence, until the call is answered.

Now I have been told by different people that when ringing my number the phone doesnt ring - they get the same as me, silence until the call is answered - thats if they wait that long...

I had this exact same thing too a few days ago. A reset of my WRTP54G did the job. No issues since the reset. It had been up for about a month before that without any issues.

The same thing happen to me a day or two ago. And it has happen on the odd occasion in the past.

Guys, can you PM the details of the calls, if you have a number that you can reproduce the problem with as well that would be good

We are having the same issue with incoming callers not hearing ringing on the VFX line, the latest was when I rang my wife this morning.  No ringing, but then she was just there!

We reproduced this issue today with the help of Unison who did a couple of test calls for us (thanks for this), we tried a couple of days ago with a number of calls with no success couldn't reproduce a single occurance (isn't that always the way Wink) , now there does appear to be an intermittent issue with some calls not recieving ring tone , it appear's to be infrequent  but it is there , we have identified what is wrong and will now be working on the cause and a resolution....no ETR on this as yet.

Thanks for the update, we are tracking this at present with our vendors, we are aware of it but don't have an updated time frame as we are still tracking the root cause sorry...hence the time at present Wink

Another example if you need it: A call from my 974 number to an 027 number @12:11 today. I did not here their phone ring.
