I joined the MEGA. The deal was the most attractive for me and the Texter was the least.

Mega is 12 months contract with a $40 buyout and the others have about a MIN $160 buyout (Choose60) and 24 months.

This is my basic take...

Mega provides me with good "all round on-net (Vodafone) usage" and a few minutes (20) to use elsewhere

Talker has the almost irresistable draw of the free vodafone weekends, if Videocalls and MMS were included it might have swayed me across. You can buy a text pack as an addon if need be and I think you might be able to buy talk minutes.

Texter is a true "You-choose bundle package" with a finite value point which is aimed mainly at people whom wish to communicate with all networks with bestmate thrown in. You can buy talk packs.

Mega is a choose 20 plan only, the others have a choice of choose60 120. 250 and 300 I believe.
You can buy two more bestmates on all 3 plans.

You get the Appropriate handset discount too (I got $40 off a cheap 1110i for a "donate" phone)

paradoxsm you should of got $70 handset discount.  The Mega is the equivalent of a Choose 60 in terms of the handset subsidy.

Ahhhh.. oh well. I own an N95 and have an E50 and a 6234 and a boxful of other random phones as "spares" so am hardly the needy.

My plan is still only $40 (choose 20 fee) to break and the rep wrote this on my contract too which was really thoughtful, top marks there.
