Vodafone offer a $10 monthly on account mobile discount to broadband customers. It seems strange that they are discounting my $85 unlimited naked broadband account by $10.01?  I should be pleased, however as the monthly broadband fee comes to $74.99 this puts it 1 cent under the $75 minimum monthly spend to qualify for a 3 cents AA smartfuel discount.

Is this perhaps a ploy by Vodafone to save paying the AA smartfuel discount to those who only have unlimited naked broadband? Would Vodafone please discount the correct amount of $10. Perhaps I am the only one getting this extra 1 cent discount when on a $85 plan with a $10 mobile discount.

Former TelstraClear customers do. I have received the discount when $75 and over was spent. From AA website:

"TelstraClear officially changed to Vodafone on 1 April 2013. All TelstraClear customers (before 1 April 2013) have now become Vodafone customers.

But – it’s business as usual for AA Smartfuel
All former TelstraClear residential customers that were registered for AA Smartfuel will continue to earn the 3 cents per litre fuel saving once a month – provided they meet the minimum $75 spend threshold related to qualifying services on their monthly residential account."

My guess is this is a bug in the billing system. I too get a discount of $10.01, but my Broadband plan comes up as $94.99 so I'm paying $84.98... so I would say it has nothing to do with the AA discount

I'm sure it's not a ploy by Vodafone :-). However, I would like to see the "bug" fixed as it helps save on fuel - at least if you are a former TelstraClear customer!
