Just got my vodafone bill and it has a sms to a UK number that I don't recognise or have as a contact, nor do I have a sent message on the date/time it states.
I can't really be bothered waiting on hold to vodafone to get my 20c refunded but just wondering if I should be concerned about it showing up on my account (ie am I going to get more, is my phone doing something weird?) or if its most likely just a random error?

If it's +445773142076 then it's the Apple iMessage activation sent by your phone.

Either that or any other app - WhatsApp, Viber, Secret, Wickr and so on all use a SMS to tie your phone to an account.

Vodafone are almost certainly not going to refund this - it is almost certain that this is your phone sending an activation SMS.

You mean sent to the UK, No idea but they need a central place somewhere

ohhh, thanks John. Googled the number and it looks like its Facetime. A bit weird as I never use facetime, nor is this a new phone, and it was sent when I would have been driving to work! Maybe some updates made it need to reactivate or something.

Good to know its not something fishy. Thanks guys.
