Yes I know I should just call WXC  - but I have  little cell phone coverage today and obviously haven't got the voip phone working yet!

I have a couple of analogue phones - I'd like to connect one of them to the Fusion modem. The phone line connection are ethernet port shaped and my phone connection is longer and thinner than that - the standard phone connection that Telecom has had for decades.

So I bought a CISCO SPA112 - as that's what's listed on the website for use with analogue phones. But the Cisco has exactly the same phone connection as the Fusion box! It seems to me I don't need the  Cisco -  I need some form of plug adaptor? If so what ?

Try the ADSL cable off the modem in the same hole, Is this the one you are looking for? If so just grab one off an old modem or something along those lines.

The connectors you are looking for are called RJ11 connectors.
Also known as US telephone connectors.

If your phone cable unplugs from the phone receiver unit, its probably using the connector you need on one end but not the other.
All you will need is a cable with the same connector on both ends.
You can take that cable in to the store as an example.

If your phones cable does not unplug from the phone then you will need a cable adapter like the one below.

Hope this helps.

Thank you - found a cable - does the job direct connected into the WXC box - no need for the Cisco router thingie - anyone want to buy one?

Also if you are using the AudioCodes box with one line, you can plug a phone into each port and make / receive 2 simultaneous calls.
