My yearly contract with TelstraClear/Vodafone finished a few days ago. I contacted Vodafone and asked that the new contract would be the same as the old. The lass I spoke too said that wouldn't be a problem and everything would just carry on a before.
Yesterday I received a call from Vodafone telling me that I needed to make an appointment for a serviceperson to call and install a new modem. I explained to the lass that my Internet service would remain the same as before (cable, 80Gb, 15/2) but she insisted that I needed a new modem for the increase in speed.
Looking at the Vodafone web site I can't see a cable 80gb, 15up 2down option so I'm now a little bit concerned that Vodafone has put me on a different plan. The present modem is a Motorola surfboard cable modem SB5100.
