DAYLIGHT SAVINGS ISSUE WITH LINKSYS DEVICES

At this stage Linksys has not been able to supply us with updated firmware to address the Daylight Savings Rules for New Zealand, what this means to all users of Linksys VFX devices is that most devices will require a restart on Sunday 30th September  to correct the Time, new configs will have been generated to use a work around to fix the problem but the devices will require to pick these up after the start of Daylight Savings on Sunday morning,  a restart will force the units to pick up these configs and correct the time.

We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause any users but the issue is purely a Linksys one and is out of our hands,  the fix can only be done via a firmware upgrade supplied by Linksys, we had been advising them for several months of the new rules and issue's we have seen with the automatic updates of Daylight Savings but they have not been able to supply a fix for these issues at this point.

I am still one hour behind after restarting my 2102. (I just turned it off for a few seconds then back on)
or do I need to do something else.
I tried it 8.00am and 11pm.

Thanks

sorry missed this, your device config should have changed, by any chance have you set your device up as a static IP  , if so do you have the DNS entries in there ?.

I've done both a 'reboot' and a 'restart' from the LCD menu on my SPA942 and still have the time 1 hour behind. Any suggestions?

Do you have a static address for the Phone ? if so do you have the DNS entries as well ? , it will need to resolve a time server
