I'm a recent WXC customer and have had great service with both phone and Internet - all going really well.

Ive searched and cant find anything out really, but does WXC have a "Global Mode" or equivant so the likes of Netflix and BBC iplayer become accessable?

Or do i still have to go down the Unotelly route?

I don't want no sugar in it - thank you very much

Sorry we don't currently offer a global mode service.

Cameronn: Sorry we don't currently offer a global mode service,  it's interesting to note Netflix appear to be looking at blocking VPN access to the service in the United States.

I hope you are just reading old news, and not using it to discourage someone from using a service that includes Global Mode:

Definitely just reading old news, obviously haven't kept up with the play on that story - my apologies.

Unotelly etc are significantly better than 'global mode' in any case, well worth the measly $5 per month it costs for a product that actually works well and has more, better, features and good support.

All good, it was a bit of a non-story, but seemed to get picked up by a bit of media.

Fully agree, well worth the extra. It is cheaper also if you get a year at once.

One thing I (personally) enjoy about Unotelly is the good quality (Android) app that makes switching Netflix regions (among other tweaks) quick and easy. No need to login to a webpage while trying to find a movie using Netflix on the DVD player!
