What is the latest firmware for the HG 659?

mine reports as
Device ID00E0FC-J3N8W14411004508
Hardware version VER.B
Software version V100R001C206B013

I'm having an issue with an older pc connected to it. With the lan conection connecting randomly @ 10mbits or 100 rather than the 1 GBIT / 100mbits that the network card supports.

My other pc connects to it fine at 1 GBIT as it should.

The 2nd pc that is having issues has an Atheros L1 gigabit ethernet 10/100/1000 card. The Driver is up todate. I've tried another cable with same results.

Any ideas? other than buy a new network card.

They like to complicate things, whats wrong with a version number like v1.25 etc with a release date, and preferably a history log :)

I see there is 2 versions

  • On an HG659: V100R001C227B011
  • On an HG659b: V100R001C227B018

Can't tell if you are joking...

The HG659b is white.

The HG630b is black.

Back to the question, which firmware is the latest that vodafone can supply and is there any firmware notes for compatiblity fixes when used with older network cards?
