You aren't missing much. Get Lightbox and/or Netflix instead. Much better.

No Extra Money Or anything like that? Just upgrade? Won't mess anything up?

I don't think you can get it at the same time as having the mysky discount.

Should be no changes, can have mysky discount on eligible plans.

The 6 months free Neon promo requires home phone + broadband, so if you've just got naked broadband then the extra $20/month for the home phone will negate what you save on Neon. Also you'll be starting a new 12 month contract. Vodafone's Neon page says to call 0800 888 304 if you want to sign up for the promo.

You also need to be aware it's only free for 6 months and it's not for Naked, it's free for Broadband+phone packages. You need to sign a new 12 month contract and pay for Neon for the other 6 months.

I suggest you read the signup page first which tells you everything.

Can someone with existing connection + sky with vodafone extend their 'contract' on 12 month term to get free sky sport etc? T&C don't say anything about whether existing customers are eligible for the offer...unless i missed something..

After the first free 6 months can I go back to a non-NEON plan?

So you're in effect asking:

"After I've got the free stuff for 6 months, can I then break the agreement so I don't have to pay anything at all?"

I would expect there to be a break fee.

You can give the retention team a call. I got SKY Basic free for 6 months.

Just a heads up, the MySKY and Neon promotions aren't available together. E.g on this page http://www.vodafone.co.nz/tv/sky-with-broadband/package-discounts/  "Get MY SKY HDi free every month when you have broadband and SKY with Vodafone (On selected broadband plans).  Offer not available on Vodafone Unlimited Broadband data and Home Phone with NEON plans."

Yep there will be an ETC if you break after 6 months. Usually these are a flat rate $199 on Fixed Line packages, but IIRC it jumps up to $299 on the NEON package.
