Some success with E220 running on 7.10 using the VMC software downloaded from the spanish vodafone site.

The software recognises the vodem and finds a signal, albiet with only one bar.  However I have no luck connecting - I have changed the APN to "vodafone.net.nz" and tried with "vodafone" as usr/pswd and without.  No luck.  Either it's not getting a good enough signal or my settings are wrong or it simply won't work..

I guess the DNS servers are for Spain so I have disabled those - does anyone have NZ settings?

Any other ideas?  I feel I'm close but no cigar,
