Home Broadband Alerts since I'm paying the bill for BB at home (but not living there).
I was wondering if there was a way to have a text alert or if there was an app that shows the data usage, so family at home knows when they're close to the limit as opposed to me check it when i get the email and having to tell them.

Yes email alerts are sent at 80% and 100% and eaxh 10GB over the cap of usage on the newer plans that are not throttled when data cap is exceeded

Perhaps something like If This Then That (ifttt.com) and set up a recipie to send an SMS when you get a specific email (like a usage alert from your ISP)?

Why bother. For the price of it these days just go unlimited and then worry is gone.

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation
