EDIT:- This was completed this morning from 05:30 and is now in effect

Well this this will be the second attempt at this Laughing,

We made a change a while ago to bring the number of rings the VFX line will ring before it goes to Voicemail and on call transfer to be in line with the settings on the VFX portal, this had a couple of issues , see the below threads.

We now have a much longer setting up to 20 Rings Max up from the 6 that were there before (Thanks to a recent fix), so to that end we will be looking to change the settings for all users on Tuesday the 13/11/07

Once the Change has been applied the Number of Rings should match with the settings in the VoicePortal instead of the cent 2 to 1 ratio.


There should not be any issues as this is a pretty simple change but if any issues please phone into customer care or post here, prefer the customer care option Wink

Good one thanks Phil. I had also wondered why the ring number didnt match. When you do change over what will be the default number of rings you will put on everyones lines? At the moment I have it set to 2 which is 5 rings before being answered so if the default will be 5 or 6 rings I wont need to change itSmile

The number of ring settings will be what you have currently so if you have it set to 3 now it will ring 6 times, when we make the change it will ring 3 times instead of the 6, we won't have access to each customer individuial setting, so each customer will have to adjust the settings on their own portal sorry.

Yes have got Incredimail here and you cant ignore the notifier that pops on the screen to let you know that you have a new email. I have tried the ring number and it works perfectly
