Here are the models I can find to buy. Am I right that the G800Y has the best profile for VF and NZ generally? I'm pretty sure we use LTE700 (28) but I want to make doubly sure before handing over the money:

Go for the SM-G800Y. Vodafone and Spark had that model, and it's been approved for Semble in NZ too. (With parallel importing your mileage may vary disclaimer disclaimer etc...)

Thanks I did get the G800Y from PB technology. It had a NZ mobile company's label on the box so I guess it was old stock.
Very happy with the phone. I loaded the Google Now launcher first of all so I didn't have to even see the Samsung touchwiz effort!

Sounds great, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. If you're with ASB or BNZ with a visa or mastercard grab a Semble sim and use your new phone as a paywave magic thing. It's fun.
