Had a shocking experience trying to switch over to Vodafone, luckily I had only received welcome email today and could stop the transfer immediately.

Customer support is still not up to mark is my experience , I had to speak with at least 5 to 6 representatives and explain the same stuff all over again and each time being diverted, all I called up was to enquire about Sky transfer to Vodafone TV.

How come the majority of the threads you have started are complaining about Vodafone?

I can't help it if that was my experience, I don't work for any telco :-) ... I did have issues with telecom as well but those got sorted, thanks to Geekzone members.

Better question would be shouldn't this be in the VF forums?
Also what are you trying to achieve with this thread?

Please note: I have a professional bias towards Vodafone.

people should read geekzone threads before choosing a provider.  It would save a lot of time (and threads)

Please clarify ...

Do you mean a switch from Vodafone Sky to Vodafone TV - or from satellite Sky (dish on roof) to Vodafone TV?

From my exiting MySky (dish) connection to Vodafone TV(home package).. Has anyone had similar experience?

Yes.
Don't do it.

Instead, drop Sky and go to Netflix and Freeview.

This does make sense. I tried to save few $$ by taking home package to switch over (UFB+Sky+phone) the whole lot to VF and get into another 12 month contract, the scary part is when the service is not good and then to be stuck with it for another year. I'll do more homework before moving :-)

Not in this subforum, it doesn't.
