quebec: Vodafone network outage currently in Central Auckland. Can get signal but can't make or receive calls. Have checked with few others around here, same issue. Can others please report?

CutCutCut: My wife was having major issues with text messages yesterday, people getting texts up to 4-12 hours late, or not at all, and vice versa. But some were fine. Located in Whangaparaoa. Was this fault a likely cause of these issues?

Yes it was related some SMS were back logged and when issue was resolved the SMS in the SMSR store were then pushed out over a few hours and real time SMS got priorty so were delivered before the SMS in the store
muttley68: I know this probably sounds cynical, but if this was a Spark outage, I reckon it would have been on the TV news. For some reason, Vodafone still seems to get away with these 'blips' in service without the media microscope being turned on them. Maybe they just have a better media team... or maybe Spark is just more fun to beat up on in the media.
(I have no reason to support Spark, but I'm just sayin'...)
Edit - I didn't watch 3 News, so if it was on there, I stand corrected.
