I had my ADSL connection with VF and decided to shift to BigPipe.

I would like to move back to VF; I call VF who have no notes on my account to state that the connection has moved to BigPipe.

How is it best to tackle a move back to VF without a disruption of service?

cheers
Luke

Based on your existing thread you were clearly on a ULL connection with VF and then moved to Chorus but now want to go back. The first expectation is that this should never be expected to be seamless or without disruption, because it requires rejumpering again.

I wouldn't expect VF to have any notes saying you've moved to Big Pipe, because they would have no way (and wouldn't care) who you've moved you. You didn't transition your connection to a new ISP (as is the case with wholesale), you had your VF connection physically disconnected as it has to be rejumpered.

The person I spoke to at VF said the account was looking all OK.

I assume nothing from the technical side of things!

Maybe too presumptuous with "no disruption" line, appreciate what needs to be done.

Just do a port line request online and no need for notes on an account that a connection has moved ISP

OK! A Port line change. Is that something straight forward on the VF website or email/ring support?
