I have twitter 2FA turned on, this morning I logged into my device (S3) but got no text from twitter (this has worked in the past, the codes were coming from 8987).

For some reason, VF is no longer on the list of supported carriers: https://support.twitter.com/articles/20170024

Is this a known issue or something that can be resolved?

Vodafone haven't been supported on Twitter for about 2 months now. There is another thread on here that discusses the reasons why. This is right across the entire Vodafone Group, not just NZ.

How come then when I set it up I got the 6 digit verification code sent a few days ago?

Maybe it's the same issue as per this article : http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=125&topicid=152065

Found the answer here (not really because I can't log on..) : http://community.vodafone.co.nz/t5/Mobile-Prepay-On-Account-plans/Setting-Up-Push-Notifications-for-Twitter-and-Facebook/m-p/179519#U179519

It's not the same "issue" because it's not actually an issue. SMS from these has been disabled across the entire Vodafone group long after that.

In that case I got to find another way to logon because currently I am locked out because I am not getting those sms messages any more.
