I've held off asking this for a while thinking that something might change, but why does the 24-month Red+ plan cost $169 per month and the Red+ plan cost $129 per month when the only difference between the plans appears to be that Red+ Super gets you an extra 500MB?

500MB for $40? Am I missing something else that explains the price difference?

Similarly, why does the 1-month Red+ Essentials plan cost $69 per month for 4.5GB whereas the Red+ costs $99 per month for 5GB?

I saw a "Red Lite" plan advertised at Albany mall the other day, which looked quite similar (and $10 cheaper) to the Red+Essentials plan I'm on now.

I think the most obivious answer is because they can. The second is somebody will send a lot more for a little extra.

Maybe? I can't see it mentioned anywhere though.

The Red+ plan until recently only had a 5gb data allowance. It was upgraded to 7.5Gb, but the Red+ Super plan was not adjusted. Not sure if that's still in the pipeline, but I imagine it will either be upgraded as well eventually or phased out as there is no value in it over the Red+ plan (at the moment).

I saw in the May edition of your store brochure it wasn't even mentioned so yeah maybe it will just disappear.

doesn't the $99 one include a phone rebate where the $69 doesn't?

The 24 month terms do.

10GB for Red+ Super. I remember a time when my HDD wasn't even that big. :P

What happens to the plan I'm on now? Do I need to move from it?
