Hi y'all
I've managed to persuade my boss that I need a new phone, and he said to find one to recommend back to him. I won't get a chance to stand in a Vodafone shop for a while, and of course it's hard to work out how good a product is just by looking at it and not getting to play with it.
I would like something with an email client so I can send and receive mail. Preferably a qwerty keyboard. A display that I can access my work's job tracking system (on https, predominantly text but can't seem to get it working on my N6101). I don't pxt and although bluetooth and FM reception would be nice, it's not a must-have.
I prefer the Nokia range, but also there's the Blackberrys, i-mates and Palms. The Vodafone online store gives some hints, but when it says "email client" for a phone, I don't trust it to work like I expect when it's on an E250 for $199!
Can anyone advise on useability, readibility etc for any of these things? Obviously the lower cost the better, but you usually get what you pay for.
Anything to avoid at any cost?
All comments welcome!
Cheers
Jon
