EDIT: Whoops, I messed the title up, I meant to say not loading properly.

I have found two websites I have not been able to load properly, both sites load but with no formatting it's just a white background and Times New Roman text. Is anyone else the same?

Site 1: http://www.investopedia.com/

Site 2: http://www.nj.com/middlesex/index.ssf/2015/05/famed_a_beautiful_mind_mathematician_wife_killed_in_taxi_crash_police_say.html

I have tried both links on Chrome, Firefox, and Internet explorer but they all show up the same.

EDIT: I don't know why the formatting of this post has gone crazy.

Vodafone adsl, loading perfectly fine.

Sounds like for whatever reason the css didnt load properly for you. a page reload normally fixes that.

Both loaded fine with me, however the first site did not load the first time, I had to refresh to get it working

I've been trying to find a time to log this since I got cable connected on the 18th. At least half of all websites are like this for me, ages waiting for page then loads all elements at once if at all.

Get full speed on tests and nslookup is always sweet as regardless of google, Vodafone or other DNS settings.

Its just some websites that take ages to initially connect, such as stuff or geekzone. Facebook and Google are fast, xda-developers is slow.

Once "waiting for x" is over each page loads normal speed, it's only this initial connection that sucks. I've exhausted DNS tests and tried with/without router in the chain it effects all devices on network.

My uneducated guess is some sort of proxy at their end? It's made my home connection very difficult to utilise.

I messed the title up. I tried changing my DNS to 8.8.8.8 and it didn't work.

www.amiga.org is the biggest one for me, no answer from Vodafone. But I gave up on that sometime ago and just use an anonymous proxy to access it. I get 403 forbidden when trying to access the CSS.  ebay also has the occasional issue, sometimes you have refresh the website several times for it to display. This is only occasionally.

Tried OpenDNS, Vodafone DNS.... Google DNS...

I'm on ADSL2.

I already have

http://www.investopedia.com/

http://www.nj.com/middlesex/index.ssf/2015/05/famed_a_beautiful_mind_mathematician_wife_killed_in_taxi_crash_police_say.html

Vodafone fibre connection here.  Investopedia site for me has the same issue as the op.  nj page eventually loaded OK but took a good couple of minutes.
(Only tried on Firefox.)
